DETAILS
The Sliding Folding Door System is built using a series of moveable elements placed inside the frame which allow the doors to move in such a way that it is possible to fold them up to the left or to the right. These elements or sashes are supported and hinged to a mullion. At the bottom the mullion is supported by a roller mechanism which slides along the cill profile, while at the top the door is supported by another roller mechanism. The specifier has the choice of a standard cill or low threshold cill, the latter enables the frame to sit level with the floor.Overall panel sizes can vary between 700mm and 1000mm and do not exceed 85kg in weight. The doors can accommodate glazing up to 38mm thick and can go down to just 6mm. Our standard door unit comprises 24mm toughened glass, made up of two sheets of 4mm glass with a 16mm cavity.
Finishing
The Sliding Folding Door System is finished in a polyester powdercoating available in a wide variety of finishes. Our current range includes over 400 different colours. Importantly, customers have the choice of a single colour finish or dual colour finish. The dual colour option makes it possible to have a different colour on the inside and outside faces of the doors.
Security
The panel joints are secured by handle-operated shoot bolts, with endpanels and externally opening doors fitted with multipoint-locking.
